HAF Selectdoor has been awarded the contract to supply doorsets for the new West Ham Bus Garage being built by Transport for London. TfL believes that this facility will be the largest bus garage in the UK when completed. HAF worked together with the architects Pringle Richards Sharrat and lead contractor Mansell PLC to secure the specification. A major factor was the cost saving elements of the steel framed timber door sets which proved to be an unbeatable combination. In addition, Selectdoor met important environmental criteria being fully prepared offsite, so reducing onsite traffic and waste. Selectdoor's steel frame enables the door sets to be de-mounted and re-used if required, which is a major Eco consideration for all projects. Crucially, the product's durability and design allows for easy maintenance so reducing the life time costs of the installation. HAF offers door schedules for bespoke Selectdoor systems in school, hospital, care home, hotel, office and residential applications. The product is delivered complete with ironmongery and its ease of installation enables contractors to make a considerable saving over traditional timber doorsets.More Details |
